We had a preschool play date this morning with some of Drew's favorite classmates, their mothers, and their younger siblings. I am having some girlfriends here for the weekend. For both of these reasons, I spent all day yesterday cleaning my house, especially the floors, which I HATE doing.
For today's playtime, I served boxes of raisins and apple juice as a snack and one of the other moms brought muffins to share. I simply can not believe the mess produced from six little people eating this snack. The three babies (all about Katie's age) must have just been walking around the house with their raisins because I am finding them everywhere! Even worse, one friend spilled his apple juice in the dining room, but I didn't realize it until much later when it had been walked through multiple times.
In retrospect, maybe I should have waited until after the play date to mop my floors. :)
