The birthday festivities continue today. Ben picked a visit to the St. Louis Art Museum as his chosen activity. I will admit to having doubts as to how our visit would go, but fortunately I was very pleasantly surprised by the kids' behavior. We kept our visit short and were only there about an hour- the perfect length of time for the youngest among us. The knight display and the mummies were the most popular stops for us, followed closely by the view of Forest Park out of one of the top floor windows.
After the museum, we headed to Gus' Pretzels for a light lunch and then came home for lots of relaxing time. There is a Turtle Cake in the oven right now and our sweet Gracie is tucked away in her room putting last minute touches on her gift for Ben. Life is good around here this weekend.
