{Art & Air Festival}
Saturday afternoon was an artistic kind of afternoon for the Hedenbergs. While Gracie attended a birthday party at an art studio, the rest of us visited the Art & Air Festival in downtown Webster. There is absolutely not a shortage of opportunities to attend festivals in our area; it seems as if there is a festival of some kind each and every weekend. We don't attend even half of them, but this one got our attention because two of my friends had been talking about it at Craft Night last Thursday and because our neighbor told Ben he runs a food truck there every year. It was just enough to get us curious to see what it was all about.
We enjoyed ourselves and will definitely return next year. There was a fun vibe as people walked around looking at art, chatting with the artists, drinking wine, and enjoying dinner from one of the many food trucks set up around the perimeter. There were many hands on activities and the boys especially liked it. Luke loved making a pot that we get to go pick up in a couple of weeks after it is fired. Drew enjoyed the print making the most. Katie enjoyed hiding her face against me when people spoke to her. :)
A pretty wonderful way to spend a Saturday evening.
