our soon-to-be kindergartener

This morning we had a visit from the principal and reading specialist at our elementary school for Drew's Kindergarten Home Visit. Ben and I chatted with the principal in one room while Drew and the reading specialist visited in another. Ben and I were not able to gather from Drew exactly what his part of the visit looked like, but he was all smiles. The principal gave Drew this T shirt before she left and said to us, "See you at pickup in a few hours!" Drew enthusiastically replied, "Nice to meet you! See you in a few months at kindergarten!"  His delivery was hysterical and we all laughed.

I love this kid to pieces, I tell ya. Kindergarten doesn't know what it has in store.
