goodbye blue mini van, hello "Hank"
Over the weekend, and after months and months of putting off adding another car payment to our monthly budget, we bought a Ford Explorer. The kids are over-the-top thrilled about our new vehicle and have named him "Hank."
I find all of the talk about Hank pretty funny, especially because Katie seems a wee bit confused by it. She will say things like, "Can I touch Hank?" This morning was the funniest though- as I was using a shovel to fix a rut in the grass next to our driveway (backing Hank out of our narrow driveway is going to take a little practice!), Katie asked what I was doing. I said that I was just fixing something that Hank did in the grass. She looked at me for a minute with a confused expression on her face and then asked with seriousness, "Did Hank poop in our yard?"
