{disappointed}
I am trying to not be in a bad mood this morning, I really am.
But the ultrasound I have been practically counting down the minutes to that was scheduled for first thing this morning was cancelled because of the weather. The ultrasound technicians weren't able to make it to the office today.
Knoxville only got about three inches, but you would think we were having a blizzard. This whole state just shuts down when it snows. The kids are having their fourth snow day of the year. The news reports urge people to stay home today.
No idea yet when my rescheduled appointment will be.

Love you,

Tennessee does pretty much shut down at the mere thought of inclimate weather. Unfortunately I'm at work today, but I wish I were home. The roads are not in great shape, and they're getting worse as the melting slush ices. I wish the south were more equipped to handle bad weather so we could have found out what you're having today!
Try not to be too disappointed (I know that will be hard). Enjoy your snow day with the kiddos and being safe at home instead of on the road with crazy TN drivers (who, for the record, do NOT know how to drive in even 1/2 inch of snow, let alone the 3-5" we have on the ground here in Nashville).
I shook my disappointment and managed to really enjoy my day... after about an hour of sulking. We left the basement playroom only long enough for meals. The kids are in great moods and are crossing their fingers for another snow day tomorrow, which looks pretty likely.
