What's something you do that drives your significant other a little crazy? :)

I use his reading glasses. I have a dozen pairs, but I never know where any of them are. Paul ALWAYS has a pair on top of the refrigerator. So, if I need to read something, especially in the kitchen, I'll grab his glasses, just for a second.... and then I lose those, too. Now, if he can't immediately find his pair, he starts yelling - and sometimes they are right where HE left them.
When the grandkids are around, reading stories is important. I'll tell the kids "I'm going to grab Papa's glasses for just a little bit, so I can read to you." Papa has Grace trained, because the minute he comes into the house she yells, "Papa, Nini's wearing your glasses!"
After 35 years of marriage, you'd think he'd just get over it!!!

Ben hates the way that I answer my cell phone. Evidently, according to him, the way to answer is to look at the front of the phone to identify who is calling and then open the phone to immediately say hello. I open the phone, wipe off the screen (only women can relate to this), identify who is calling, and then speak. It drives him crazy.
Luckily for our marriage, I miss about 75% of the calls that come in, so he doesn't have to see me answer my phone very often. :)

Will can't stand that I get water all over the place, all the time **so he says**. When I wash my hands at the sink, I apparently drip water off my hands, onto the floor or the counter, before I make it to the towel, which we (inconveniently) don't keep near the sink. When I brush my teeth, I splash water on the counter and (usually) don't wipe it off. In my opinion, it's water, it will dry, and it doesn't really hurt anything if some water dries up on a counter. But Will hates it! I try really hard to be cognizant of my bad habit and clean up, but it's sort of like trying to teach an old dog a new trick. Half the time I don't even realize I'm doing it until he yells at me and throws the handtowel my way. Luckily he has gotten to the point that he just laughs at me now...which is good, because I don't think I'll ever not drip water on the floor.

Leslie doesn't like repeted noises, like bouncing a ball or tapping your foot. She hates it when I leave little things out, like leaving socks my belt or an ice cream bowl when it wouldn't take long to clean them up. She really hates it when I correct her in public. Like if she is telling a story and I correct a detail, which isn't really important but bothers me when it is wrong. It is a really annoying habit that I have some times.

I forgot to comment that luckily, even those these are annoying little habits, Leslie does not nag at me about them. I just re-read my post and I don't want anyone (including Leslie) to think she is always picking at me. And no, Chad, she did not make me write this :)

It would probably be easier to name the things I do that don't make Erin mad. Erin if you are reading this, I'm sorry, I was just kidding. I love you. (help me)
Jeff likes to leave things on the counter in the kitchen and always plans to get back to them later. I am the Queen of Tidy and I can't stand clutter...but I always put his stuff in a safe place...I just don't always remember where that safe place is.

Also, I apparently take any stray water glass I find and put it in the dishwasher (shocking!) and he doesn't like that. Other than that I'm perfect :-)

Two things I do that make chad irritable are telling stories that are a little too long or have too many details or repeating details in a story (I am working on this) JUST GET TO THE POINT ERIN and the other thing I do that irritates Chad is that I actually make him do things ex. help out around the house, help out with Addison, not take that afternoon nap etc.

Barb, putting drinking glasses away and cleaning the clutter off the counters is a genetic trait, so you can't be blamed for that. I do it all the time and I throw things away that Paul needs because I can't find my glasses to read the mail (it all ties in, you see!)before I throw it away.
When I put dishes that he isn't done with in the dishwasher - or make the bed while he is up going to the bathroom - he just smiles and says "Thanks, Babe!" and it's not a term of endearment. He's telling me that I am turning into my mother... and I think I am!

Ok...I am new at this, but I thought what the heck. It drives Daryl crazy that I start the laundry and don't finish (i.e I will get it all washed and at least the last load in the dryer, but that is where I am done because it usually takes me at least 3 or 4 days to get the laundry upstairs and put away). I also stack clean "wet" dishes on top of "dry" dishes in the dish drainer instead of putting all the dry away before I start more dishes...no I don't have a dishwasher to spoil me on this one!!! Wish I did!!

I am a bit obsessive about our bed. I HAVE to make it before I can sleep in it...Kev can't make it b/c it has to be "just so". If, for some reason, I didn't make it in the morning, then I have to make it that night before we go to bed. And if Kev's already in bed, I usually have to make him get out so I can make it. He's kind of figured this out, and now will come get me before he goes to sleep if the bed isn't made. I know, I know, it's a problem, but I can't get over it. I've also discovered that our lovely daughter, Lanie, has picked up a bit of the habit...she has to have her covers pulled up to her neck to sleep:)! Poor Daddy...

I really have nothing on this but: Ben, that's a genetic trait you got from Dad. nobody likes to be corrected, in public or not. That is one of my more annoying habits. Mom and Barb: you have no genetic choice but to take away your husbands immediate needs. The only thing I ever remember grandpa Bill saying was "Babe, where is my coffee?" Grandma, "I thought you were done, dear."
