First Day of Kindergarten

Oh my goodness...the day has finally arrived! Gracie is an official kindergartener!

She was so very excited! As soon as she woke up this morning, she wanted to know how long it was until she could go to school. It was a long morning waiting for 12:50 to arrive!

Ben was able to rearrange a meeting so he could come home for a bit and we could take her as a family; it was so nice to have him there too. Gracie was full of smiles and completely fearless- no tears or hesitation at all. When it was time for the teacher to lead them into the building, she gave me a big kiss and a wave and was off. I managed to control my tears until she was out of sight. :)

Ben had to hurry back to his meeting, Luke is resting in his room, and I have two long hours to go until I can hear all of the details of her day. I can't wait to hear her take on things.
