{fall trip?}
I am kind of surprising myself by planning another trip (and car ride) so shortly after the last, but I just don't know if I am able to skip a fall Midwest trip.
Here's what I am thinking- the kids have a three day weekend beginning September 23. If they missed Monday too, we could have a nice long weekend full of great fall activities. There is a home Illini game on Saturday, the Pork and Apple Festival going on in Clinton, and some Hedenberg birthdays to celebrate. Definitely worth sixteen hours in the car, right?
What do you think- anyone up for a day of tailgating in Urbana on September 24? We could go to the game, or not go to the game- I'm good with either. I just love the tailgating atmosphere. The yummy food, the visiting, the kids running around, the orange and blue everywhere, the parade...... I just love it!
If you are interested, would you please leave a comment or send me an email? I know fall weekends tend to be very busy, so I just want to make sure that we would get to see a lot of you wonderful people before we plan on subjecting Katie to her car seat again. :)
And there are a couple of Zionsville and St. Louis families that we love who just may read this. Did you know the drive to Urbana from your homes would just be a couple of hours? Just sayin'. :)
