{snow-induced happiness}
I love the snow. Love. Love. Love.
I love the way it makes everything cozier. I love the way that it makes the night sky so pretty. I love the quietness of the neighborhood. I love just sitting at the window, warm drink in hand, watching it fall. I love the excitement of the kids. I love unexpected days home from school. I love the bundling up to play outside in it and the required hot cocoa and cuddle time once we come back in. I love the smell of it.
The snow began falling right as we left church yesterday morning and didn't stop for about twenty hours. It left just enough snow to make everything pretty and to get school called off for the day, but not enough to cause any real problems. Perfection.
After the move, I really didn't think I'd have much snow to look forward to this winter.
I am a happy girl.
