{recovering}
This morning Drew had the eye surgery I have been dreading for about eighteen months.
My little patient did wonderfully and is home recovering with comfy pajamas, popsicles, all of his favorite books, Thomas episodes enjoyed from the couch, and basically anything else that he wants. :)
It's good to be spoiled every now and again, and he has definitely earned it. Driving to the hospital in the dark, anesthesia and IV's are never any fun, but especially not fun when you are too little to understand what is going on. Poor thing.
This mama is sooooo glad this morning is over and behind us.
