the things I "bought" today

I love to shop, but don't love to shop with three kids.

I love to search for great things for our home and closets, but can't always afford all of the wonderful things that I find on the high salary that I'm earning these days as a stay-at-home mom.

Sometimes when all is quiet, I do a little "shopping" online. I visit all of my favorite stores- Ann Taylor Loft, Pottery Barn, etsy, Anthropologie, Gap, Piperline, Land of Nod, Janie and Jack- and search for things I would just love to have. Nothing ever gets purchased, so I don't actually know why this continues to be a fun past time for me, but give me a sweet tea and a little online shopping and I am a happy girl.

My "purchases" today:

I think these would be great fun and I have loved everything we have ever purchased by eeboo. The illustrations are just so colorful and happy.

I love the colors on these shoes. I have a similar pair in pink and orange that have been well-loved over the past five years.

This blanket would be absolutely perfect thrown over the side of the big chair in our bedroom. It makes me want to curl up with a book.

As long as I'm dreaming- I think this set would be perfect on our patio. Just perfect.

I love this color and the relaxed look of this sweater- like a sweatshirt, but a little nicer.

Not that I need another hoodie, of course, but I love this look. Once cooler weather steps in, I pretty much live in hoodies and jeans or yoga pants during the week.

I have a thing for candles and a thing for monograms. This candle would look great on our coffee table.

I think this toy would be a great addition to our bath toy collection.

Gracie loves American Girl mysteries. We are in the middle of one right now and she is full of theories! I think this would be a great one to read next.

I love this necklace......

and this dress..........

and I pretty much drool over these boots. I want to buy them and wear them with every dress I own.
Happy Thursday morning! :)

Buy the boots.

Now THAT is a great hubby ;)
I think Ben just likes the boots because they're sexy in a "bad cowgirl" kind of way. Bath toys just aren't as sexy.

Since you're being so generous, Ben, can Leslie buy me the boots, too? If it helps my case, I pretty much drooled over them the moment I saw the picture.

And Leslie- I do the same thing all the time. Since I currently make $0/hr I can't actually purchase anything, but I love to "buy" things: new wardrobe, a computer, music, electronics, furniture, and sometimes even a new house. Ironic that you found those boots, just the other day, I was looking up knee high flat riding boots. They would look so great with jeans and a blazer this fall. I hope I'll be able to treat myself to some new clothes soon!

Love the necklace and the patio furniture and the boots! Sounds like some great Christmas ideas--six months early. I often shop for houses online but can't get one until ours sells!!!! Glad you had fun browsing!

This might be the biggest compliment that I have ever given Barb: The redheaded model could be the daughter that she never had. As I wrote that, I realized that it's sad that I don't know if redheaded should have a space or not. You would think that would be something that I would know.
She's waaaay too skinny to ever be an imaginary daughter of mine. I thought I had better say that before someone else did.
