a day at the ballparks
Saturday was a baseball/softball filled day for the Hedenberg crew. We woke up in Decatur after the Avett Brothers concert the night before and spent the morning driving back to STL. Once arriving, we picked at the fastest lunch around (hello carrot sticks and bowls of cereal...) before rushing off to three games and one practice in a seven hour window. Whew. It was a lot, but still fun. That evening between Luke's game and Gracie's night game, we found time to squeeze in a stop for Fortel's for pizza. These pictures are a bit Gracie- heavy, but it was an exciting night for her team. They played their best game yet- by far!- AND it was an 8:15 game under the lights at Blackburn Park. The Griffins were pretty pumped up!
| my ballgame picnic blanket companion- give her a lollipop and some books and she is generally happy. |
| The ONLY picture I got of Luke yesterday... and he has a ball glove on his head. In my defense, he sat this way for an entire at bat. |
