coming home.
Vacation is wonderful, but home sure is wonderful too.
It's been a laid back couple of days around here and man, did we all need it! We've mostly just taken it easy around the house, but we have left for the staples- groceries and library books. :) I don't know if you feel the same way, but between the laundry, the vehicle clean out, and the unpacking, returning from vacation feels like a lot of work!
After getting some chores and learning activities and piano out of the way this morning, the kids all have some free time right now. You could hear a pin drop in this house at the moment. All four kids are scattered doing some quiet thing or another. I have been sewing bunches this afternoon getting ready to put some new buntings in the etsy shop. There is something so mindless and relaxing about sewing such a basic project that it is the perfect activity for today. Good music and iced tea make it even better.
I end this pretty uneventful post with a picture my mom emailed me this morning that makes me smile no matter how many times I look at it. Gracie took it of my mom and Patti and Kelly and I think it is one of my favorite vacation pictures.
