There is nothing like your birthday to make you feel loved, is there?
Between the sweet attention from the kids, the texts from friends and family throughout the day, the FB messages, and the birthday cards in the mail, I feel like one spoiled lady! Thank you so much.
Ben arranged for our sitter tonight so that he could take me out on a birthday date. We ate dinner on the Hill, went shopping for new bedding at West Elm as my present from Ben, and then stopped at our favorite Cyrano's to end the night with coffee and bread budding. The yummy food and great gift from Ben was wonderful, of course, but even more wonderful was four uninterrupted hours with my favorite person. He's pretty great.
I share this picture because you know that I hate a post without a picture. :) And because how amazing do these look? I am stuffed and would still love just another taste of that bread pudding or sip of that turtle latte! mmmmmmm.
