{cousin sleepover and trip to Grant's Farm}
How do you make a fun weekend of baseball, a ballet recital, and a birthday party even more fun? Add in a grandparent and cousin sleepover, time around the fire pit, and a morning trip to Grant's Farm!
We loved having a house full of family here for the weekend. Saturday night, after a busy day, we were excited to hang out at home with some great people. After dinner together at Sweet Tomatoes and dropping Gracie off at the 5th grade dance party, we headed back to our house for playtime. Ben started up a fire in the fire pit and we hung out while the kids ran around playing together- one of my favorite kind of weekend nights, for sure!
Sunday morning we were treated by my parents to Bread Company bagels and fruit from Soulard Market, and then we all went to Grant's Farm for the morning. It was a wonderful morning to be there- the temperatures were in the sixties and it wasn't too busy. We all really enjoyed ourselves before coming back to our house for the birthday party.
The fun continued later that afternoon with a trip to see Gracie's softball game. She had a large cheering section! Emmy, Katie, Addi, and Drew cracked us up by enjoying rolling down the hill much, much more than watching the game!
