kitchen project
We've been working on a project in the kitchen and I've had more than one request to share pictures. :)
This post is not really a before & after post because we are still working on it, but more like a before & during post.
Ten days ago, the side of our kitchen looked like this:
Since then, it went from that to this:
To this:
To where it is now:
I am pretty excited about this project, I have to say. Upgrading to a bigger fridge AND getting a pantry all in the same week? Happy Leslie here.
Can I just show why I am so excited about this? Look at this storage-
Makes me ridiculously happy.
The project is not complete. Ben plans on building a surround around the refrigerator with open shelves on the side and a cabinet of some sort above. Also, we used about a foot of space from my closet in the bedroom and it is currently still disassembled. My clothes are spread all around the house until we get a chance to put the closet back together.
I was just saying to a friend- and thought I would share here too- that I am so happy to have found a partner who enjoys home projects as much as I do. And, let's be real, I think we all know that he is the skills of this operation and I am just the idea girl/painter/cleaner/nail puller/kid occupier. :)
Thanks, Ben, for always being cheerfully willing to make our home ours. I am a lucky girl.
