{Sixth Grade Orientation}

We attended Sixth Grade Orientation last night for this sweet gal.

How are we old enough to have a child soon leaving elementary school? sigh.

I was impressed with the Sixth Grade Center and feel pretty good about all of the fun Gracie has in store for her next year. The school is set up to be a perfect transition from elementary school to middle school. She will be on a team with eighty other students and those students will travel throughout the school day together, switching classes and teachers. She will have a homeroom teacher to check in with each day. She is super excited to be joining the band. She will have Art once a week, PE twice a week, and band each day.

She's ready for sixth grade, for sure. We are just so proud of her!
