can not take a compliment….
My Drew can not take a compliment. There are the types of conversations that occur when someone tries to compliment him-
(just now in our dining room as Drew helped Katie with a puzzle)
Katie: Drewy, you is the best brother ever. Ever. ever.
Drew: Katie, you have another brother too.
Katie: Drewy and Lukey is the best brothers ever.
Drew: Katie, you don't know. You don't know all of the brothers there are.
me: Drew, she is saying something nice to you. Can you just thank her for the compliment?
Drew: Thank you, Katie, but you just don't know very many brothers. There are brothers in all the countries of the world. There are nicer brothers than me in China and you don't even know them.
This kid. Endlessly entertaining, I tell you.
