practicing for Santa

Last night Gracie taught Katie all about visiting Santa Claus. I am told that they even role-played Katie's visit to Santa.

Right now, Katie is sitting at the dining room table with me coloring while I edit some pictures on the computer. While coloring, she is apparently practicing for when she goes to visit Santa. She is carrying on both sides of her predicted conversation with him and I could not find this any funnier!

These are all her words:

What do you want for Christmas, Katie?

I would want some paint, Santa. And hairbands and a teddy bear.

Happy Christmas, Katie!

and then she starts over.

I just love her.
