{our little family Christmas 2013}
Since Christmas always means out- of- state travel for us, many years ago we began the tradition of having two Christmas celebrations- one just us and the second in Decatur. Yesterday was our Christmas here at home, just the six of us.
It was a relaxed day sprinkled with fun throughout. Red and green Christmas waffles for breakfast, opening presents, watching a Christmas movie, going out to Pi for some really delicious pizza, driving around to see the lights…. just a perfectly cozy day from start to finish.
Ben is off at work for the morning while the kids and I are wrapping Decatur presents and finishing up some handmade gifts for people we love. There is some Christmas baking on the agenda for the afternoon and then a fun Christmas surprise for Ben this evening.
I love the holidays.
