{tHis & tHAt}
1. We finally have cable and Internet!!!!!! WOO HOO!!!!!! And it only took a month and six visits from Charter.
2. It stinks that Tim McGraw and Lady Antebellum will be here in Knoxville tomorrow night and I am not going. We have yet to even look into finding a sitter here, so unless I want to go by myself to the concert, I'm going to be sitting this one out. Bummer.
3. We watched "The Blind Side" last night and now I get all of the hype. What a great movie.
4. I don't think there is a wall in this house safe from my paintbrush- every time that I finish one area and see what a difference a coat of paint makes, I think of two more areas I want to paint. So far this week I have finished Gracie's room, painted the foyer, began the family room, began the kitchen, and tried out paint samples in the bathroom and living room.
5. My parents brought a few boxes of my teaching things when they came for a visit last weekend. While going through the boxes, I came across a VHS tape of Reading Rainbow episodes I recorded off of PBS. I asked Luke if he wanted to watch an episode and the concept that I had recorded something off of the TV and put it onto a movie just blew his mind. He asked in disbelief, "You made a movie? You just got to pick whatever you wanted and you made it into a movie to last forever?" I guess TiVo is all he understands. Funny. :)
6. Ben is out for a beer with his college roommate who also happens to live in Knoxville. On Saturday we are having family pictures taken by the photographer who took our engagement and wedding pictures who has also moved to Knoxville. Small world.
Hope you are having a great week!
