a quick update on Luke-
After a relatively easy day and a trip to the pediatrician this afternoon, Ben and I feel a bit better about things. Luke's burn still looks just awful and we were asked to make an appointment with a plastic surgeon, but we can find comfort in the fact that he does not seem to be in too much pain. He is taking Tylenol with codeine and using an ointment which numbs the area and the combination is really doing its job of keeping him comfortable!
We'll continue to just take it easy over the next few days as he really isn't using that hand at all. We're so scared he is going to lose his balance and fall onto his hand- the pain would be awful! Gracie has been wonderful and is trying to help him in any way that she can think of. She actually asked him at breakfast, "Do you want me to feed you?" It made me smile.
