first day of preschool

Check out this handsome dude on his first day of preschool-

There was nothing but complete and total excitement from him; hard to believe this is the same kid who told everyone-repeatedly- that he would NOT be going to preschool!

It was a shortened day, so Luke was only at school for 75 minutes. We walked into his room and his two teachers quickly got the kids interested in their first Circle Time of the year. We left to their singing of the name song. When I went back to pick him up, he was all smiles. He was super excited to show me his book order and his take-home bucket. He talked the entire way to pick up Gracie and all I could do was smile. My big boy! 

Gracie is happy to report that she was the leader today at school. The leader gets to walk the attendance to the office, help the teacher with calendar, and be an all-around assistant in the classroom. It is, evidently, a really special day when it is your turn to be leader. How cute!
