seven.

It's been a full day and I don't have all of the energy needed to do this cool kid justice with new words, so I will just copy and paste what I shared on Facebook this morning.

Seven today.

I always try to share a bit about each child on his/her birthday in an attempt to capture a moment in time. I've been sitting here trying to paint a full picture of Drew for a few minutes now. He is hard to capture.

This kid is in a category all his own. He completely represents the phrase "full of life." He is always ready for a laugh and loves a joke more than anyone I know. He is sarcastic, witty, and genuinely funny. He is a mini- Ben in so many ways. He has a great one-dimpled smile. When he is happy, it is infectious..... (and when he is mad, well, watch out!) He is smart- so, so smart. He lives his life just trying to keep up with his older brother and is insulted when he is not given all of the same privileges as Luke. We are pretty sure that in his mind, Drew is eleven too. He loves books and video games and his puppy and Imaginext toys. He brings so much life to our family and I can't imagine the Hedenberg crew without him.

Love, love, love my Andrew Henry. heart emoticon

We celebrated in a small way today with more celebration coming over the weekend. We showered him with gifts and let him choose the dinner of his choice- Papa John's pizza and brownie sundaes. He got unlimited screen time and got to skip all after school responsibilities. He was happy and I think he had a good day.

I was thinking the same thing! And presents on top of that. Drew had to be in heaven! A great way to celebrate your 7th birthday.
