I'd like to post pictures of the rest of our long weekend getaway. I'd like to share pictures and story about Katie's first day of pre-K today and my first day as teacher in the Star Room at preschool. I'd like to share an update about my incredible pride in my hard-working husband who landed a major promotion at work. I'd like to write about my thoughts on busy and how I keep wondering how/what to simplify. I'd like to share pictures from last week when Katie had two consecutive all-day play dates with her best friends. I'd like to share pictures that Ben took from the canoe trip that he and Luke took a while back.
But I have vacation laundry to do.
And twenty eight signs to paint.
And dinner mess still all over the kitchen.
And stuff to do for preschool before tomorrow morning.
And emails to return.
So instead of all of the things I'd like to blog about while sitting in front of the TV- because Ben is out of town and I have complete control of the remote and everything!- I will give this not-very-interesting report as I sit next to my littles as they wind down for sleep.
Soon, though....
