{just because}
No real reason for this post, but just because it made me smile....
The storms here last night were pretty bad. The lightning and thunder woke multiple kids up multiple times. Ben is out of town, so I ended up just pulling Drew and Katie in bed with me at one point.
Drew was already in my bed when I let Katie come in. She didn't see that he was there and we both drifted back off to sleep, or so I thought. Just as I dozed off, I heard her shriek, "Drew!" in complete happiness. She had just noticed he was there and was really happy about it. So cute.
I also giggled about an hour later when the thunder woke Drew up enough to talk but not enough to really have any idea what he was saying. Out of the clear blue, he said, "You can not have this cheese stick." And then fell promptly back into a deep sleep.
