Merry Christmas!
Oh, what a day!
It's 11:00 on Christmas evening and I am feeling so relaxed and happy...the result of 24 hours of smiles and excitement from the kids, yummy food and wine, time with family, and lots of relaxing. The kids are finally asleep and Ben and I are hanging out in my parents' living room with my dad. We had good intentions of meeting a friend or two out for a beer this evening, but this couch and the new pajamas Patti got me are just too cozy....maybe tomorrow night. :)
It was so much fun to watch the kids open their presents today. How very generous our family is! I have serious doubts about our ability to get it all back to Zionsville in one trip! Gracie, Luke, and Drew barely stopped smiling once all day as they played with grandparents, aunts and uncles, and cousins.
