Last night we ate dinner at one of our favorite pizza places, Mellow Mushroom, and then hit the craft store to pick up supplies for the craft I get to make with Gracie's class today. While there, we let the kids pick out supplies to make Christmas gifts for their grandparents. All I can say is- Patti, Paul, Mom, and Dad, you will be receiving some interesting gifts from your grandbabies. :)

Drew and I got up especially early this morning and it feels so much later than 7:15! I am in a really great mood this morning. though, and so excited that Winter Break is here! Other things I'm feeling good about this morning:

• Patti is home from the hospital and on the mend.
• Ella's parents gave me a really sweet Christmas card expressing their gratitude and containing a gift certificate for a massage, a manicure, and a pedicure. I was blown away by their generousity.
• Ben overheard Gracie telling Luke that today would be the best day of her school year because I was coming in to throw the Winter Party. This made me so happy to hear.
• Drew slept completely through the night last night for the first time in a week. Aaaggghhhhhh....maybe this is why I feel in such a good mood this morning. :)
• Gracie and Luke keep coming home from school with the cutest ornaments for our tree. Picture lots and lots of glitter and cute handwritten messages. So adorable.
