Bridget and Will provided us with a perfect Winter Break afternoon by giving us gift cards to both Build A Bear and Red Robin for Christmas. After a lazy morning at home unpacking the van and playing with new Christmas gifts, we headed out this afternoon to have a delicious late lunch of cheeseburgers and fries at Red Robin and to visit the Build A Bear Workshop.
The kids have wanted to create a stuffed animal at Build A Bear for a while, but we've never actually done it until today. Gracie and Luke had so much fun and Ben and I were amused watching their different reactions to the many choices they were asked to make. As usual, Luke was pretty quick to make each and every decision and Gracie was indecisive and changed her mind many, many times.
They had a great time choosing, stuffing, cleaning, dressing, and naming their new friends and can't wait to show them off to their family in Decatur this weekend.
Thank you again, Bridget and Will! What a generous and thoughtful gift!
