Ben and I had a different kind of evening tonight-one on one time with Drew after Gracie and Luke were picked up by my dad since we have Drew's surgery tomorrow morning. Drew and I spent the afternoon playing and cuddling and then once Ben got home, we all headed to out to dinner and to run a couple of little errands. It was nice to have the night to spoil him just a bit.
It's been a great week so far. Hours and hours of playtime at home, a playdate with good friends, a couple of Christmas movies, some art projects, and our own Christmas, just the five of us, before leaving town. Gracie and Luke were so proud of their presents for us, which is completely hilarious because they had wrapped everyday things from their rooms. Gracie gave me a barrette and Chapstick, both from her bathroom cabinet, and a book from her bookshelf. Luke wrapped one of his toys for Ben. They are so cute sometimes. :)
