more fall fun

This afternoon we visited a local farm to pick up pumpkins. I have never before seen such a variety of pumpkins with so many sizes, shapes, and colors.

We also enjoyed visiting the Zionsville Annual Pumpkin Day. Our local Lion's Club holds a Pumpkin Day each October with pumpkins for the kids, hot dogs, Smores, bounce houses, games, and hayrack rides- all completely free of charge. It was such a nice place to spend a beautiful fall day and we had a great time.

We went to Conner Prairie on Wednesday night for all of their Halloween festivities. The kids reeeaaallllly enjoyed the Headless Horseman puppet show, the scarecrows, and the music tent full of Halloween music and percussion instruments.

We're looking forward to a couple of more days together as the kids continue their Fall Break until Wednesday.
