the debate

Gracie woke up at six this morning complaining of a sore throat. We've been up together since then and she is in a great mood and is not running a fever, but she has been blowing her nose, coughing, and sneezing. I'm doing the debate- is it her allergies after walking around at Conner Prairie last night or is it the beginning of something worse? Do I send her to school or do I keep her home?

To her great disappoinment, I've decided to keep her home today just in case. The constant barrage of letters coming home from school about proper handwashing, signs of the flu, etc. have me really cautious, as I suppose they should. Better to be safe than sorry I suppose.

So, woo hoo! Gracie's five day weekend just became a six day weekend. Hopefully not a Fall Break full of sickness........
