I love days like this.
Gracie and Luke are on fall break and we're having the coziest day at home. It's 2:00 and Luke is still in his pajamas. They've been playing so well together and Luke is clearly enjoying having Gracie here with him for the day. She is much more fun to play with than I am!
Also a plus- Drew is just waking up from the nap he went down for at 10:00 this morning. A four hour nap! He woke up in the best mood and has just been grinning and chattering at me for the past fifteen minutes from his high chair.
Drew's four hour nap, Gracie and Luke's fun together in the playroom, and the absence of baby Ella today has made for a pretty leisurely day for me. I've talked to four of my favorite people on the phone. I've organized my closet. I've done a little baking. I've started my next book club book. I've done a little planning for Luke's birthday weekend next weekend.
It's been raining all morning, but the sun has just started to peek out. I think I'm going to surprise the kids with an outing of some sort.
