project with Luke

Luke is very big into helping right now. The other day we spent the afternoon on what he called a "Mommy-Luke project"- organizing our many board games. We dropped Gracie off at kindergarten and drove to Target to pick out shelving, then came back home to put the shelves together.

Luke was so into it! I told Ben that I couldn't believe his concentration as he took apart all of the pieces and worked with his little tools to put them together just right. We assembled them at his pace, so our little project took quite a while, but he was SO proud of the end result! We had lots of high fives for each other once all of the games were neatly put away in the closet.
