Memorial Day weekend
For years, Memorial Day weekend has been a great chance to hang out with friends. The agenda has changed a bit over the past ten years as kids have been added to the mix, but it has always been a weekend of laughing, playing and/or lounging in the sun, drinking, shopping (girls), going to the race (boys), cooking out, sitting around the fire in the evenings, and ordering pizza on Sunday night after the race. I love it.
Carter Spangler (Casie and Drew's son) was so much fun this weekend! He is adorable and such a happy little guy! Here he and Ben were goofing around during our cookout on Friday night.

It's been such a good weekend, but not a very restful one yet. I am so glad we have tomorrow to recover a bit!
