froggy ballerina

Gracie and I spent four (!) hours this morning at the dress rehearsal for her ballet recital tomorrow. She is so excited and loving every second of all of the preparation. The rehearsal was reeeaalllly long and not what I was expecting! The kids looked so cute in their costumes, though- of all of the times to forget my camera!

I took a few pictures on my phone, and even if they aren't the best quality, they are still worth sharing:

The five year old ballerinas were frogs....so cute!

Gracie is the second frog in on the right. The ballerina front and center is Madison, one of Gracie's teachers. Madison is a senior in high school and in six different performances in the recital. Looking for and watching Madison kept the little girls in Gracie's class entertained throughout the long rehearsal.

This is Sarah, Gracie's sweet little friend from both ballet class and church. The two girls get along really well. We ducked into the hallway for a snack mid-morning.

I am really looking forward to the real thing tomorrow! More pictures to come....
