NINE YEARS
Nine years-
three beautiful, happy, healthy children
lots and lots of laughter
big changes & little changes
dozens of great vacations and road trips
figuring out how to be parents together
the lease of two apartments and purchase of two houses
starting a life in St. Louis, restarting a life in Indiana
our first real jobs and then better jobs
feeling our way through hundreds of "grown up" decisions
wonderful parties, birthdays, and holidays together
fun nights with family and friends
hours and hours spent talking over long meals
Nine years of sharing my life with my best friend.

That tag at the head of your blog says it all. The eyes that you view your life with, and the openess in which you share it with the rest of us, shows the love you have for each other, your children, your family, and your friends.
Pam and I are blessed to have such wonderful people as our children, and what better time then an anniversary to simply say "Thank You' for the happiness you bring into our everyday, ordinary lives.

The starry-eyed sweethearts are still there - I can see them when you walk along holding hands on the rare occasions that you both have one hand free.
Your finding each other has brought joy into our lives, too and we appreciate the chance to share vacations and holidays with you and extended family and grandbabies.
