I was taking the trash and recycling to the curb and I came back in the house to Drew's screaming. Luke was standing nearby looking pretty guilty. After a few moments, he confessed to trying to put his new reindeer antlers (you gotta love the Target Dollar Spot) on Drew's head, even though he has already been told many times not to do this. I picked poor Drew up and saw a tiny scratch on his cheek. In not my most calm parenting moment, I yelled at Luke to go sit in time out.
His response?
"Mommy, sometimes when you are mad you sound like a stepmother."
Like I said, not my proudest Mommy moment, but man, did it make me laugh out loud!
