Memorial Day weekend 2019

Oh hello summer.

It's just so very nice to see you again.

We kicked off summer 2019 with a very relaxed weekend in St. Louis. Our weekend was a perfect mix of productivity and taking it easy, of time with friends and time to ourselves.

We had our traditional "welcome to summer" ice cream party.

Gracie and Luke both went to swim parties.

Gracie spent hours enuing with friends at the park.

Kate had a softball game in absolutely perfect weather.

We had our first summer night at the pool.

Patti came to STL to take Luke to see a show at the Fox on Friday night and to take Kate for a birthday outings day on Saturday (lunch, an art studio, a book store, and Kate's favorite KIND store).

Ben took Gracie driving and to lunch at a new restaurant they've really been wanting to try.

I took Drew for an afternoon of shopping (his activity of choice).

Luke spent a couple of days at the lake with his best friend's family.

We spent hours working on projects around the house.

We went out for a family lunch date at a restaurant Drew has been asking to go to.

We went to a cookout hosted by some Webster friends.

I'm sitting at my computer on Monday night with that super mellow feeling that comes after a weekend of life well lived.

sigh.
