It was a rainy, rainy day at the ballpark on the date that Drew's choir was invited to sing the national anthem at the Cardinals game. So rainy, in fact, that although we were at the stadium for two hours, we never left Entrance A. All of the Bristol families were in a holding area waiting to see how the day was going to go. Finally the choir director tearfully decided to cancel. An alternate plan was quickly thrown together for the kids to sing right at the entrance for the parents.
When the game finally happened hours later, Ben took Kate and Drew back to watch. Grace, Luke, and I opted to move on with the rest of our Saturday. It was disappointing for Drew to not get to sing on the field as he has seen his older siblings do, so hopefully he will get to participate as a fifth grader.

a friend shared this photo with me (Do you love Drew' busted open chin? He took a bad fall on his bike.) |

| Kate did not mind the waiting one little bit. Many of her friends were at the game. |

| Grace made me laugh. She had on five layers of shirt/sweatshirt/jacket/ and poncho. |
