Bravos sing the national anthem
For the fourth year in a row, a Hedenberg kiddo got to sing the national anthem at the Cardinal's game. Talk about cool. I am sure the kids are tired of hearing me tell them to appreciate the moment because it's a small portion of the population who can boast to have sung on the field at Busch Stadium!
It was a beautiful day for baseball. Our seats were technically not great as we were in the LAST ROW of the entire stadium, but we were pretty happy with them. We were in the shade and there was a nice breeze. Our section was full of Bristol families and there were many empty seats, so the kids got to hop around and hang out with their friends. We were lucky enough to have my parents, Patti, and Bryan join us for the game as well as have seats next to good friends of ours, so we had a great afternoon.
