 Our second annual birthday road trip was a blast. We headed to Kansas City for an overnight and had the extra added bonus of Gram coming along too. What a treat to get her all to ourselves for a couple of days!

Our time was full of exploring. We were on no schedule and spent every moment doing whatever we felt like doing. We shopped. A lot. We spent birthday money on treats for ourselves that we normally would not. We drank lots of iced coffee. We browsed through many antique malls. We took lots of pictures. We ate many delicious things. We saw a movie. We did some sightseeing.

All in all, it was a perfect girls' getaway and one that I am so thankful for the opportunity to have taken.
