Gracie & friends

On Friday evening, Grace's school held a Talent Show and she and six of her friends sang in the show. It was a neat opportunity because it was completely student run. Gracie's group, for example, had no input or guidance from a teacher and were completely responsible for their own performance. They formed their own group, put together a mix of two Jason Mraz songs, and created their own practice schedule.

Ben and I were pleasantly surprised with their performance because Gracie had asked the gang over to practice last Monday night and things were more than a little off. They were a long way from being ready to stand on stage and sing into microphones!   It was so worrisome that Ben, a non-worrier, leaned over to me right before the group took the stage on Friday night and told me that he was nervous for them. ;) We were so happy to see the kinks worked out of their performance!

Way to go, Gracie girl! Love the way that you stood up there with such confidence. We are, as always, so proud of you.
