for Papa

After Paul passed away, a good friend of ours mailed us a gift card to a local nursery. She wisely suggested that we purchase something to plant in our yard so that we could have a place to visit in St. Louis if we were missing Paul. Today, while Patti was in town for a visit, we got to plant our chosen tree. The kids all helped and it was a special time together as a family. 

I am so thankful for good friends who make life just a little easier, especially when life is tough.
