"Katie's mom"

One of the perks of my job at the preschool is occasionally getting to teach Katie's class, as was the case last Tuesday when I was the science teacher for the building. I enjoyed all of the classes that morning, but especially loved Katie's sweet little class. When they walked into the science room, Katie looked so happy to see me that I melted into a puddle on the floor. A few of her friends said, "Katie! Look! It's your mom!" In fact, throughout the thirty minutes that I had her class, most of the students called me "Katie's mom" instead of "Mrs. Leslie," which I found quite amusing.

I couldn't resist snapping this picture of Kate during our lesson. So very fun to be her teacher.
