hello
It is the last day of our trip and I am sitting in a hotel room in Huntsville, Alabama sipping coffee as G, L, and D watch Cartoon Network and Ben and Kate catch a little more sleep. We've been without wifi for a few days, so this quiet time to look over and edit some of the hundreds of photos I've taken this week feels like a little treat. We are off to the Space & Rocket Center in about an hour and the rest of this day will be very, very full as we hope to also make a quick stop in Nashville on our way home and still be in Webster Groves around midnight tonight.
These kids have been excellent. We hit our vacation stride on Tuesday and things have been so very good this week. Ben and I wondered if by the end of a week of hours in the car, different cities, different hotels, weird sleep schedules, eating out, etc, we would be done with vacation. Happy to say this is not the case at all. I think we are all feeling a bit sad that today is the last day of this family adventure.
