one hundred days
This kiddo has one hundred days of elementary school under his belt.
Kate and I spent the morning in his classroom helping his wonderful teacher with the many fun activities she had planned to celebrate the number 100. It was two+ hours of stations and circle time, but it passed quickly because the kids were so engaged. Even Katie was pretty into some of the stations, especially the 100 Fruit Loops necklaces. She spent fifty minutes happily stringing Fruit Loops onto a string of dental floss.
I got to man the writing center and assist the kids in their piece, "If I had one hundred dollars..." So cute. I learned this morning that to the average kindergarten mind, $100 can buy almost anything, including a zebra and one million toys.
