We made it to Friday! Hoo! Ray!
The week that was not the easiest is over. The rain has stopped, the temps have risen, and the sun is shining. The locksmith has fixed the front door, the ordered garbage disposal has arrived, and the permit from the city for the bathroom renovation has been approved. Gracie is back to 100% and Ben is home from North Carolina. I enjoyed a night out with some girlfriends last night and am completely looking forward to many fun weekend plans.
Life is good. Even when it isn't. I am so thankful for good people in my life. For the teacher friend who subbed for me when Gracie was sick. For the father in law who called to offer to drive down and replace our garbage disposal. For the sweet friend who left the most delicious treat on our back porch yesterday for no other reason than to be nice. For a network of neighbors always offering to help the second any problem, no matter how minor, is mentioned.
