{a look at us, November 2013}

Most Saturdays for us include a family date out to lunch somewhere. Today as we were getting ready to go to one of our very favorite Mexican restaurants, Ben and I had the idea to grab our camera and tripod and stop at the park for a new family picture. We were both completely laid- back about it, and I would say the expectations were really low for actually getting one we were happy with, but we agreed that it sounded like fun and tempted the kids with a treat drink at lunch if they would cooperate for pictures. We are not above bribery around here.

We were only at the park for about fifteen minutes total and considering how thrown together our photo shoot was, I feel pretty happy with the results. I deleted many, many, many pictures with closed eyes, fingers in noses (lovely.), and silly expressions, but these remaining shots pretty much capture us as we are today, November 2013.
